Information on the agency's work

Evalag is a centre of competence for quality assurance and enhancement. The agency supports higher education institutions and other scientific institutions with their commitment for good quality in teaching and learning, research and services; since October 2009 evalag is accredited as an accreditation agency.

External quality assurance activities in the scope of the ESG:
  • Evaluation (based on peer review and empirical data).
  • Audit procedures (based on peer review), accreditation (based on peer review).
  • Peer review procedures for research proposals.
  • Institutional accreditation of Swiss higher education institutions.
