Information on the agency's work

The AHPGS promotes the quality and transparency of university study courses and Universities through accreditation procedures in Germany and abroad. AHPGS is accredited by the German Accreditation Council. Furtherrmore, AHPGS is authorised by the Swiss "Federal Department of Economic Affairs" (EVD) to assess accreditation applications of Swiss universities of applied sciences. Since 2015, AHPGS is entitled to carry out audits at universities and colleges in Austria in accordance with § 22 (2) of the Austrian Quality Assurance Act.

Specialisation: The focus of AHPGS' work is the external quality assurance of Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the area of Health and Social Sciences
