The Knowledge Café gives participants an opportunity to learn about specific developments, initiatives and case studies related to quality assurance in the EHEA. The format enables informal and spontaneous discussions in small groups and allows each participant to visit several topics:

  • The essence of the European Blockchain Initiative (EBSI), the collaboration with EQAR (using DEQAR data) and the next developments for EBSI. Presented by Lluís Alfons Ariño Martín, project Spanish universities EBSI
  • Inquiry into the European Degree and the EdLab project. Presented by Fernando Galan Miguel Palomares, Consortium Manager Arqus European University Alliance and Kinga Szuly (Head of Sector at European Commission)
  • The European Approach for QA of Joint Programmes: and institutional and QA agency experience in accrediting a joint programme. Presented by Francisco Pérez Cutiño, ACCUA & Ángel Luis Trigo, University of Seville
  • Changes in Croatian legal framework to accommodate for the use of the European Approach for QA of Joint Programmes. Presented by Sandra Bezjak, EQAR Register Committee member and Josipa Dragičević, Croatian Ministry of Education
  • The QA of Micro-credentials in Ireland. Presented by Bryan Maguire, QQI
  • Introduction of the European Digital Credentials for Learning – an initiative lead by the European Commission which also includes connection to DEQAR, by Ildiko Mazar, NTT Data. This session is pre – recorded.
