Information on the agency's work

The Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) was established on 1 January 2002 pursuant to art. 38, clause 1 of the Law on Higher Education of 12 September 1990 (OJ No. 65, item 385) amended on 20 July 2001. The Polish Accreditation Committee is an independent institution working for the quality of education.

External quality assurance activities in the scope of the ESG: 1. Programme evaluation, including the evaluation of initial teacher training programmes.
2. Institutional evaluation, including the quality evaluation of third-cycle programmes and postgraduate programmes.
3. (Re-)Granting authorization.
